Impact of a reward sytem on employee motivation in Nestle
Project Background
The reason of the thesis was to examine and analyze how well the current reward system of Nestle helps generate employee work motivation. More specifically it aimed to find out which aspects of the reward system functions well, and which aspects could be further developed and improved in order to increase employee satisfaction. The theoretical part of the study introduces different theories of motivation and rewarding.
Importance is put on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, the goal setting theory and the total reward system. The empirical part of the thesis was conducted by using a quantitative research method. The data was gathered with the help of a questionnaire and two interviews.
The endeavor of the research was to compare the different reward systems used in Nestle and find the pros and cons of them. The research results revealed how Nestle can develop their reward system by including the employees in the decision making process. The research chains the assumption that a well developed and functional reward system can increase employee motivation and satisfaction.
Research question and purpose of the study
If you study the today we can see the today organization result is highly dependent on the workers motivation. Hence it is vital for an organization to dig out what motivates its employees so that I could be plan a suitable reward system and obtained good result. The right combination of immaterial and material rewards can boost up the employees' work motivation and enhance their commitment to the company.

Executive summary
This internship report consists of profile of the banking sector (industry), its origin, the functioning, how the banks are classified on the based on function, ownership etc and the trends being followed in the industry. Besides the above mentioned this report is focused on BOP and to be more precise it discusses the inner details of the bank situated in Narowal DHA II Branch. BOP origin and its setup in Pakistan are also discussed in the report.
BOP came to Pakistan and gave banking sector a new horizon; today BOP has set firm foot in the industry. As I did my internship at the BOP, as it is an area office therefore most backend tasks are done here. With a vision to be the leading organizations operating locally & internationally that provides the complete range of financial services to all segments less than one roof the bank started its operations during 1989.
The report further guides through the department and working of the general banking. The activities taking place in the bank, the various products of banking are discussed in the report. The different departments working under the shed of BOP. The report is a very good description of what BOP and its significance is.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report has been prepared after getting internship in BOP branch Laqat Road Sahiwal. The virtual university has given me task to done it in any organization. So I have selected the bank of the Punjab for getting practical knowledge. I have divided my reports in various portions. The main purpose of this report is to analyze the HR activities adopt by the BOP. The first portions of my report consist on History of Bop, its board of Directors and review of committee. Further Readers will able to understand about BOP mission and Vision too. In the next coming pages, Report is giving a whole picture of BOP business volume, its products lines, what are the main clients, and what are the whole competitors. In the 3rd portion, I have written BOP department’s information, its task, all department function. So it will increase the awareness of the readers regarding to BOP Departments activities.
